Jorge is survived by his wife Maria Elena Vargas; children Claudia Gomez, Nydia Vargas-Whitt, Erika Vargas; granddaughter Emily Bella Gomez; siblings Salvador Vargas, Silvia Plascencia, Sara Vargas, Efrain Vargas, Samuel Vargas, Jesus Vargas, Amelia Ramirez, Carmen Gutierrez and Armando Vargas.
