John was a longshoreman for 30 years, a career that reflected his strength, toughness, and determination.

John Leonard Tuberosi, beloved husband, father, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, passed away on August 6, 2026, after a courageous year-long battle with lung cancer.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Evangelina; his daughter, Olivia, 20; his son, Giovanni Rodolfo, 18; his mother, Josephine Tuberosi; his siblings, Victor Tuberosi and Teresa Crivello; and his aunt, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

John was preceded in death by his father, John Tuberosi.

John was a longshoreman for 30 years, a career that reflected his strength, toughness, and determination. Outside of work, he enjoyed cooking, gardening, taking long walks, and listening to music. Music was always an important part of his life, and he loved the music he grew up with.

John lived life on his own terms. He was independent, strong-willed, and never afraid to be himself. He had a rebellious spirit and a personality that was truly his own. John was larger than life—unapologetically himself, with a presence and personality that could never be forgotten.

John was fiercely driven and hardworking, always pushing himself to pursue new opportunities and make his mark. He also was a true visionary, recognizing the potential of cryptocurrency long before it became mainstream.

Beneath his tough exterior was a deeply loving heart and a fierce devotion to the people he cared about. Above all else, John was a father. His children were the most important part of his life, and he was immensely proud of them. Becoming a father brought out a deeply loving and devoted side of him, and his children were at the center of his world.

John will be remembered by all who knew him for his strength, his individuality, his loyalty, and his larger-than-life personality.
