he carried a deep passion for fishing, gardening, going on cruises, traveling all over the world and most importantly spending time with his family

After 92 remarkable years, John Joseph “Joe” Lauro Sr. passed away on July 1, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness. Born on May 19, 1934 in Ischia, Italy, he carried a deep passion for fishing, gardening, going on cruises, traveling all over the world and most importantly spending time with his family throughout his life.

Joe approached life with an adventurous spirit and a brilliant wit, always ready to lend a helping hand to a neighbor or share a story of his travels. Above all, he treasured his family, bringing his children, grandchildren and great grandsons together for holiday and special occasion celebrations.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 63 years Mary Ann, children Vince (Giovanna) Lauro, Natale (Danielle) Lauro, John Jr. (Deanna) Lauro, and Christina (Wind) Ralston and grandchildren Catherine (John) Srsen, Analiese Lauro (Kurtis Neeld), Jessica Lauro, John Lauro III, Julianna (Grant) Meadows, Vincent Lauro, Joey Lauro, Francesca (Kris) Kagy-Lauro, Angelina (Mac) Kremer, Dominic (Erin) Lauro, Crew Ralston, and Cadence Ralston, and great-grandsons Anthony Kagy-Lauro and Colton John Meadows who will forever carry forward his lessons of hard work and love of family.

Visitation will take place on July 23, 2026 at 9:15 am to 9:55 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 am and burial at 11:30 am at Green Hills.
