John Anthony Anderson, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on 3/25/2026 at the age of 85.

Born on May 14th , 1940 in Los Angeles, California, John lived a life defined by kindness, integrity, and quiet strength. He was the son of John and Otha Anderson, who instilled in him the values of hard work, compassion, and dedication to family values he carried with him throughout his life.

John proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. His time in the service reflected his deep sense of duty, honor, and commitment qualities that remained with him throughout his life. 

Following his military service, John spent much of his career working inside of the crane & rigging industry, where he earned the respect of colleagues and the gratitude of those he served. He took pride in his work and was known for his reliability, wisdom, and willingness to lend a helping hand. 

A man of deep faith, John had a profound love for God that guided his life and shaped his character. He found strength and comfort in his beliefs, and his faith was evident in the kindness, patience, and generosity he showed to others. Whether through quiet prayer, fellowship, or acts of service, John lived his faith in a way that inspired those around him.

Beyond his professional life, John found his greatest joy in his family. He is survived by his loving spouse, Susan Anderson; his children, Dawn Marie Gibson, John J. Anderson , Joeie Gray and Robyne Hines; and his grandchildren, Lauren, Jamie, Taryn, TJ, Josh, Kori Jhadia, Tony, Adrian and Jack, who will forever cherish his guidance, humor, and unconditional love. He is also survived by his sister Patricia Wingell.

John Anthony Anderson will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his generous spirit, steady heart, unwavering faith, and dedicated service to his country.
