Jesus Arguelles

Jesus Arguelles, affectionately known as “MAROMAS,” was born on December 3, 1947, in Nayarit, Mexico. He peacefully passed away on October 26, 2025, in San Pedro, California, at the age of 77.

A father and a grandfather, Jesus is survived by his daughter, Blanca Alicia Arguelles, and his son, Jose Alvaro Arguelles. A grandfather to Alvaro, Keira, Estefany, Erik and 6 more grandchildren cherishing every moment spent with them. His three stepchildren, Alfonso, Eduardo, and Elena, and his ex-partner, Petra, also remember him fondly.

Throughout his life, Jesus built a career as a landscaper, where he was well-respected for his hard work and dedication to his craft. Known for his ever-present smile and warm spirit, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His personality illuminated the lives of many, creating lasting memories for friends and family alike.

Having been the last of his siblings, Jesus carries a legacy of love and resilience that will continue to inspire those who knew him.

Visitation services will be held on November 12, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Green Hills Mortuary & Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. A Mass in his honor will take place on November 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by a graveside service at Green Hills Memorial Park on November 15, 2025, at 1:30PM.

Jesus Arguelles will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.

Jesus Arguelles, cariñosamente conocido como “MAROMAS”, nació el 3 de Diciembre de 1947 en Nayarit, México. Falleció en paz el 26 de Octubre de 2025 en San Pedro, California, a los 77 años de edad.

Padre y abuelo, a Jesus le sobreviven su hija, Blanca Alicia Arguelles, y su hijo, Jose Alvaro Arguelles. Abuelo de Alvaro, Keira, Estefany y Erik, así como otros seis nietos, el disfrutó cada momento compartido con ellos. Sus tres hijastros, Alfonso, Eduardo y Elena, y su ex pareja, Petra, también lo recuerdan con mucho cariño y amor.

A lo largo de su vida, Jesus trabajo en la jardinería , donde fue muy respetado por su trabajo y su dedicación al oficio. Conocido por su sonrisa siempre presente y su cálido espíritu, siempre estuvo dispuesto a tender la mano a quien lo necesitara. Su personalidad iluminó la vida de muchos, dejando recuerdos imborrables entre amigos y familiares.

Como el último de sus hermanos y hermanas, Jesus deja un legado de amor y resiliencia que seguirá inspirando a quienes lo conocieron.

Los servicios de velación se llevarán a cabo el 12 de Noviembre de 2025, de 4:30 p. m. a 8:30 p. m., en Green Hills Mortuary & Memorial Chapel en Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.

Se celebrará una Misa en su honor el 13 de Noviembre de 2025 a las 10:00 a. m. En St. Peter's Catholic Church.

El 15 de Noviembre de 2025 a la 1:30 p. m. tendrá lugar un servicio en la sepultura en Green Hills Memorial Park.

Jesus Arguelles será profundamente extrañado y recordado con cariño por todos aquellos cuyas vidas tocó.
