Jesus, known as Jess, was born in Lubao Pampanga, Philippines. He was a loving, personable, generous and jolly man. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration degree from Far Eastern University, his career started in the human resources department of Water Works. He then proceeded to own and operate two gas stations. In 1968, he immigrated to the United States where he continued his entrepreneurship. His business adventures included a medical clinic, a medical laboratory and commercial fish farming. Jess was also active in the political community, both in the Philippines and the U.S. He was a mentee and confidante of former president Diosdado Macapagal. Here in the U.S., he became good friends with former Mayor Santarina and current Mayor Davis of Carson, CA. His various hobbies included ballroom dancing, gaming, gardening, and cooking. Jess is predeceased by his mother Gorgonia Andres, his father Pablo Andres Sr., his first wife Dr. Maxima Andres, his brothers Pablo Andres, Jr., Danilo Andres and his sister Juanita Andres. Those surviving are his devoted wife Dolores Andres, his sons Jeffrey Andres, RJ Andres (Gayle), and Mike Andres, his daughter Jerilyn Carey (Steve), his brothers Nardo Andres Sr., Amado Andres and Mario Andres, and his sisters Lourdes Andres, Zenaida Gorospe and Elena Cruz, and his grandson Gabriel Andres, as well as many nieces and nephews.
