“Our beloved Kimo Horn was born in San Pedro, California on May 15, 1968 and passed away at the age of 58 on July 8, 2026 in Harbor City, California.

Kimo attended Carson High School in Carson, California, Los Angeles Harbor College in Wilmington, California and Pan American University in Edinburg, Texas with a full ride scholarship for baseball which he earned while playing for Harbor College. He was an amazing pitcher, almost making it to the MLB (#37 for life). He loved all sports, and great at everything he tried. Kimo was also a very skilled trumpet player. He competed in and won many band competitions throughout his high school career, achieving first chair and silver trumpet.

For many years Kimo managed a pool company whose area spread from Los Angeles to Orange County. He was a master pool-builder. His care, kindness, and attention to detail left a huge impression on those he served. He earned the respect of everyone in the pool industry and won major awards.

He is survived by his daughters, Abigael Napper (and her husband, Christopher Napper) and Sarah Horn (and her fiancé, Robbie Best); his four grandpals, Isla Anuhea, Amelia Nohea, Theodore Kekoa, and Emerson Kaimana Napper; his parents, Kerry and Terrie Horn; his brother, Spencer Horn (and his wife, Mandy), and their daughter, Marti Horn; his sister, Kimberly Horn; his former wife and dear friend, Barbara Horn; and former in-laws Johnny and Eileen Hickman.

Kimo had a large and beautiful family. He had many loving aunties, uncles, and cousins in California, Arkansas, and Hawaii; whom he cherished and loved very much. He loved his Hawaiian heritage and passed his love for it onto his children and grandchildren. He would spread Aloha and laughs wherever he went.

Kimo was truly a great and loving man. His intelligence could only be surpassed by his humor. He was handsome in every stage of

his life…and he knew it. He was a generous soul, helping anyone who needed it if he could. His charm and wit were unparalleled. All who knew him well, loved him dearly. His passing leaves a massive hole in all of our hearts, we will miss him for the rest of our days.
