Jack L. Harper

Born to Walter and Lena Harper on September 24, 1920 by a midwife in West Plains, Missouri. The 55 year resident of San Pedro passed away on February 16, 2014 after a brief battle with cancer. Jack was married to his high school sweetheart Lola Harper (deceased) in Yuma, Arizona on June 23, 1940. Jack is survived by their two children: Jackie Sue Esteves (Jerry, deceased) of Ontario and Richard Harper (Cheryl, deceased) of San Pedro and his grandchildren: Rick Esteves (Georgine) of Chino Hills, Michelle Quiroz (Richard) of San Pedro, Timothy Harper (Melissa) and Kimberly Harper of San Pedro. Great grandchildren: Kristin Esteves, Erin Esteves, Jake Harper, Brody Harper, Aiden Quiroz along with several nieces and nephews also survive him. A graveside memorial service will be held on Monday, February 24, 2014, 11:00am in Green Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
