Helen Shizuko Watanabe, the daughter of Clarence and Shigeyo Ogata, passed away October 30, 2011 at the age of 79. She was born February 23, 1932 in Hawaii and had been a longtime resident of Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Helen is survived by her loving family, children; Wayne (Vicki) Higa, Valerie (Alvin) Benipayo, Debbie Mancia, Craig Higa (pre-deceased), seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and siblings, Grace Chinn and George Ogata.
