Helen Atsuko Kawahara passed away peacefully on Friday, May 4, 2012. Beloved wife of 56 years to Herbert Kawahara; loving mother to Suzanne, Jean (Dean Dunlavey), and Ted (Helen) Kawahara; and grandmother of Alex and Sally Rothman, Brett, Grant, and Corinne Dunlavey, and Todd and Jake Kawahara, she is also survived by her siblings: Sumiko Yoshimura, Mary Fukunaga, Grayce Befu, and Alva Yano. Services will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday, May 12th, 2012 at Rolling Hills Methodist Church, 26438 Crenshaw Boulevard, Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274.
