Haruo, born March 21, 1930 in Hilo, Hawaii, passed away peacefully October 28 at home surrounded by family. A US Army veteran, he served during the Korean War. He is survived by his two children, Valerie Gooding and Kelly Maki; son-in-law, Jeff Gooding; brother, Tommy Maki; granddaughters, April, Amy, Tristan, Holly, Hana, and Chloe. He was preceded in death by his wife Ella G Maki. Visitation will be Monday, November 7th from 09:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Green Hills Mortuary in Rancho Palos Verdes. The gravesite service will be the same day at 2:00 PM.
