Haru Matsubara Blanchard, beloved mother and friend, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025 at the age of 101. She was a long time resident of Gardena, and a member of the Gardena Valley Baptist Church.
Haru was born on May 10, 1924 in Toyko, Japan, and was know by friends for her warm and caring heart.
A private graveside service will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park in Palos Verdes. Donations to the Gardena Valley Baptist Church is suggested in lieu of flowers or gifts.
