Harold L. Brookman, a 40-year resident of Gardena, CA passed away unexpectedly during heart surgery on February 18, 2015. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, he served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War after which he settled in California. He enjoyed taking care of his family and helping others. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife Lillian, his son Kevin (Lisa), brother Edwin Brookman, sister Gloria Stratton and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A memorial service will be held on March 6, 2015 at 1 pm at Green Hills Memorial Park at 2750 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275.
