It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we announce the passing of Guadalupe Espinoza, better known as "Lupe." She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend. She was born in Redondo Beach; however, she was raised in Mexico and returned to California where she resided in San Pedro for more than 60 years. She married Maximiliano "Chano," her childhood friend and soul-mate of 80 years. Lupe is survived by husband, Maximiliano Espinoza, from San Pedro; children, Maria (Andy) Zambrano, Manuel (Paula) Espinoza, Arturo (Twist-Duran-Quarenta) Espinoza, Nena (Jimmy) Vasquez, Sergio (Myrna) Espinoza, Maximiliano Jr. (Mendoza T.) Espinoza, Ricardo (Joie Michelle) Espinoza; twenty grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by brothers Francisco (Erminia) Salceda and Susano (Raquel) Salceda and sister Teresa (Jose) Gomez. Viewing/Funeral Vigil will take place on June 3, 2013 from 5 PM to 9PM at Green Hills Mortuary, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275. Mass will take place on June 4, 2013, at 10:30 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1292 W. Santa Cruz St., San Pedro, CA 90732.
