**In Loving Memory of Gordon**
Gordon William Cowan was born on May 22, 1934 in Long Beach,Ca. Gordon was a gentle and strong presence in the lives he touched. His journey of life took a profound turn when he lost his father at the tender age of 16, an experience that shaped him into the compassionate man he became. In his 30s, he met the love of his life, Karen, who was in her 20s at the time. Their connection was immediate, and just two weeks into their blossoming romance, Gordon proposed, marking the beginning of a beautiful partnership.
In 1971, they celebrated the joy of homeownership, and soon after, their lives were blessed with the arrival of their first daughter, Carrie, in July 1972. Nine years later, their family grew again with the birth of Christie in 1981. Throughout the years, Gordon’s devotion as a father was evident; he was always there for his daughters, making them laugh and encouraging them to embrace life with joy.
Deeply committed to both his family and faith, Gordon loved fiercely and created a nurturing environment where laughter and love thrived. He will be remembered not only for his strength but also for the warmth he shared, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he cherished. His spirit will continue to inspire all who knew him. He went to be with the Lord on July 24,2025 in Fullerton, Ca at the age of 91!
Gordon, thank you for the love and laughter you brought into our lives. You will be deeply missed.
