Glenn William Meyer 75, of Laguna Woods CA passed away on August 19, 2026, at Saddleback Memorial Care surrounded by family after a 10+ year battle with cancer.

Born on September 7, 1950. Glenn was the son of William and Ruth Meyer. He graduated from San Pedro High School as a swimming champion in 1968 and proudly graduated from the California Maritime Academy before beginning a 50 year career as an engineer.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marie; his daughter Jennifer (Brian), his cherished grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Ernie) and Kody, Brian’s Children (Tami, Tasker, Emilee, Hayden and Casten) and his siblings Candace (Gary), Jeff (Donna), and Kurt (Pilar), as well as his many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, loyalty and love for his family. His shoes will be impossible to fill.
