Gary L. Treadwell, age 73, lost his battle with cancer, July 19, 2026, surrounded by loved ones at his home in California.  

Gary is survived by his wife of 35 years, Juliette; his daughter, Michelle; his sisters, Linda Donahoe, Kathy Prince, and Cindy Brown; and their extended families. He is predeceased by his father, Burl Treadwell, and mother, Kathrina Treadwell.

Gary was born in Granite City, Illinois on October 30, 1952 and graduated from Granite City High School in 1970. He joined the military and was stationed in South Korea for a brief period. After returning home, he attended Southern Illinois University and received his nursing degree and worked at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in various units. He relocated to California in the late 1980s to pursue a career in ministry, attending the Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena. Ultimately, deciding to return to nursing, he began working at Good Samaritan Hospital, where he met his lovely wife of 35 years, Juliette. They were married July 11, 1991 and welcomed a daughter, Michelle, December 14, 1993.

Gary was a devoted husband and father and a follower of Jesus Christ. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
