Rancho Palos Verdes — Frances Hernandez Nelson, a long-time resident of Torrance, Ca., died peacefully on July 12, 2017 at her home in Rancho Santa Margarita, Ca. surrounded by her 3 adult children. She is survived by her daughter and son -in-law Laura and Jose Davalos, 2 sons, Mark V. Nelson; Manuel A. Nelson, his husband Mark Brown; 4 grand children, Angel, Adrian, Vanessa and Enrique Davalos plus 2 great-grand daughters, Leila and Alana Bartra who all affectionately referred to her as "Abuelita". Visitation will be Sunday, July 16th 5pm -
9pm at Green Hills Chapel; Services will be Monday, July 17th at 10am in the Historic Church of Green Hills Memorial Park.
