Frances Louise Mori

Frances Louise Mori, passed away at the Huntington Retirement Home in Torrance, CA on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at the age of 99. She was born on Vashon Island, WA on August 4, 1924, and moved to Gardena, CA in 1958. She worked for Tak Isobe Studios colorizing photographs prior to the introduction of color film. Frances worked at Little Company of Mary Hospital for over 14 years in the Medical Records Department. She spent her retirement volunteering at Torrance Library and worked contractually as a seamstress creating pillows, cat blankets and cat toys, working well into her 80’s. Frances is survived by her children, daughter, Debbie (Kevin) Stassin, sons Don Mori, Gene (Kay) Mori, granddaughters Erin (Craig) Jensen, Shannon (Robert) Friend and five great grandchildren, Matthew, Penelope, Jasmine, Emily and Joshua. Funeral services will be private.
