Born August 9, 1944 in Long Beach, the long-time Harbor City resident passed away on October 22, 2014 after a long illness. The retired Assistant Los Angeles Fire Chief is survived by his loving wife, Marsha along with his children Erika, Elliot and Ebony Hoffman-Cass, son in-law Ronald Cass, mother, Margaret Hoffman and sister D'Etta Robinson (Curtis). Viewing will be on Wednesday, 3-8 pm in the Malaga Suite of Green Hills Mortuary. A Celebration will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2014, 10:00am at Glory Christian Fellowship International of Carson. Interment to follow in Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes.
