Federico Camson

Federico Rodrigo Camson passed away on January 26, 2019 at the age of 95, in Wilmington, California. He was born on January 11, 1924 in Iloilo, Philippines. Fred, known among friends & coworkers, was an Accountant at IBM Philippines. He retired after 27 years of service and immigrated to the United States of America in 1972 and subsequently petitioned his wife and 7 children. He then worked in several small companies in Los Ángeles, eventually landing another long term employment of 23 years as an Accountant for the California State Department of Education. Fred retired at the age of 70. His former coworkers appreciated his expertise and dedication to his job. Fred is survived by his children: May, Audie/Angelica, Glenn/Elvira, Hazel/Jon, Jeanette, Sandra/Mel, daughter-in-law Marian; 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Fred is predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Purita, son Federico Jr., son-in-law Charles.

A visitation will be held February 8, 2019, Friday, 4:30pm to 8:30 pm in the Green Hills Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be on February 9, 2019, Saturday, 10:00 am at the Green Hills Historic Church.
