Evelyn Garcia – 61 – Lawndale, California
Born June 21, 1955 Daughter of Nahum and Carolyn Garcia, Torrance, California. A 1973 graduate of Narbonne High School in Harbor City, she earned various Associate Degrees from El Camino College and spent much of her career as a specialized programs security manager in the aerospace industry for Raytheon, Hughes Aircraft, as well as the U.S. Air Force. She is survived by her husband Lt. Col. Jim Austin (USAF Ret.), son Vincent Pulizzi, father Nahum Garcia and sisters, June Cintron, Carol Ann Larson and brothers William, James and Ruben. She was preceded in death by her mother Carolyn, and her older brother Daniel. Evelyn entered into rest August 14, 2016. A private memorial will be held at Green Hills Cemetery, RPV California.
