Evelyn Flores

Evelyn Flores, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Thursday August 28, 2025 at the age of 98. She was born in Las Vegas, Nevada November 10, 1926 and was a longtime resident of Wilmington, California. She is survived by her two sons, Theodore Flores, his wife Ida, their children, and Ben Flores, his wife Maria, and their children. Evelyn had tremendous love for her community and took part in organizations such as Boy Scouts of America as a Den Mother, and was a Community Election Worker alongside her husband Theodore G. Flores for many years. She was a fiercely proud mother and enjoyed being a part of her children’s schooling with her involvement in the PTA, even taking office as president for Banning High School during the 1970-1971 school year. Evelyn was a devout Catholic who lived her life unapologetically full of strength, warmth, love and faith which radiated to those blessed with her company. A funeral service will be held at 11:30am on September 26, 2025 at Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes followed by interment. Please join us as we celebrate the life of Evelyn Flores.
