She was born on June 25, 1926 in San Gabriel, California and had been a longtime resident of Torrance, California. Esther is survived by her loving children, Luis (Rosa) Velarde, Darlene Dorothy (David) Lavoie, Kathleen E. (Peter) Ramos; grandchildren, Robert Velarde, Kristina (Chris) Beaman, Scott (Tina) Buck, Randy (Michelle) Roy Jr., Richard (Debra) Roy Sr., D.J. Roy, Kimberly Marie Lavoie, Peter (Vicky) Ramos Jr., David Ramos, Cynthia Rose Ramos; 8 great-grandchildren and sister, Lily (Richard) Lopez.
