Elsie Valdez

Elsie Valdez was born on April 25, 1938, in Los Angeles, California to Conrad (Pop) & Jovita (Momma) Omectin. She passed away on August 23, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was a lifelong resident of San Pedro, California attending Barton Hill Elementary, Dana, Jr. High and graduating from San Pedro High School. Preceded in death: Conrad (Pop), Jovita (Momma), Lupe (sister), Julio, Johnny, Timboy and Leonard (brothers). Survived by her loving sons and their families, her loving daughter and her families, grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Also by Tommy (brother), Lucy and Carmen (sisters). Elsie loved to garden and enjoyed concerts with her family. She was a regular at the Green Onion every Friday night alongside her daughter. Her greatest enjoyment was being around "The Family". Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 5:00pm - 8:00pm at the Cove Suit of Green Hills Mortuary. A funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 11:30 at Green Hills Memorial Chapel.
