Elizabeth Elaine Paculba, lovingly known as Liz, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on December 4, 1960, in San Pedro, California, Liz lived a life defined by unconditional love, unwavering strength, and complete devotion to her family.

Liz was the cherished daughter of Mike and Kathryn Stavros and grew up alongside her siblings, Mike Stavros, George Stavros, and Irene Jackson. The close bonds she formed with her family throughout her life reflected the values she carried into every relationship.

On October 8, 1988, Liz married the love of her life, Rodney Paculba. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and family. Their commitment to each other, their vows and the love they shared was the foundation their family was built on. She was a devoted and proud mother to Aja, Nico, and Noah, who were the center of her world.

Nothing brought Liz more joy than being “GiGi” to her beloved grandchildren: Oliver, Milo, Cruz, Gwyneth, and Cyrus. They were her greatest pride and the light of her life. She treasured every moment spent with them, creating memories that will be carried in their hearts forever.

Liz made her home in Wildomar, California, where she created a welcoming place that family and friends always looked forward to visiting. She was known for her loving heart, caring nature, selfless spirit, incredible strength, and unwavering support of everyone around her.

She was the kind of person who always put others before herself. Whether it was a birthday, holiday, school function, or sporting event, Liz was always there. She never missed a family gathering and never missed an opportunity to cheer on those she loved. Her presence brought comfort, encouragement, and joy to everyone around her.

Through the turmoil, pain and illness of her battle with cancer, Liz’s unwavering love of her family and her faith gave her the strength to keep fighting. The love of both not only motivated her daily but would be the comfort and peace she needed as she laid her head to rest at night.

To her family, Liz was more than a wife, mother, sister, or GiGi—she was the glue that held everyone together. She was the one who made sure everyone felt loved, included, and cared for. Her generosity, kindness, and steadfast love created a legacy that will continue to live on through the family she cherished so deeply.

Liz leaves behind her loving husband of nearly 38 years, Rod; her children, Aja, Nico, and Noah; her beloved grandchildren, Oliver, Milo, Cruz, Gwyneth, and Cyrus; her siblings, Mike, George, and Irene; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her beyond words.

Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing that her love, compassion, and beautiful spirit will remain with us always. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she will be deeply loved and forever missed.
