Elizabeth Krcmarik passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on March 8, 2026, at the age of 103. Elizabeth was born on April 10, 1922, in Garland, Nebraska and moved to Redondo Beach in 1946.

Elizabeth was the beloved wife of Donald Krcmarik for 72 years before his passing in 2014. She is survived by her sister Ruth, sons Ronald of Redondo Beach and Gary (Janet) of Flagstaff, AZ, grandson Jeff Johnson, and great grandsons, Tanner and Brody.

Elizabeth retired in 1984 after serving many years as a waitress. Her “main job” was to take care of her husband, sons, daughter in law, grandson, and great grandsons.

Elizabeth was a cornerstone of the American Legion Post 184 family, serving with grace and distinction as President of the Auxiliary for 13 years. As the widow of a World War II veteran, she embodied the spirit of the Greatest Generation and remained a steadfast advocate for our veterans throughout her long and meaningful life.

Elizabeth was a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and was responsible for sending greeting cards to celebrate life events to members for over 2 decades.

Funeral services will be held at Greenhills Memorial Park on March 23, 2026 at 11:30 am. A reception will follow the service at the American Legion Post 184.
