Elisa Byrd, the daughter of Juan and Elsa Ortega, passed away on October 23, 2013 at the age of 66. She was born on June 23, 1947 in El Paso, Texas and had been a resident of Victorville, California. Elisa is survived by her beloved son, Dean (Diana) Sutherland; 2 grandchildren; brother, John Ortega and niece, Yvette. A Church Service will be held on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in San Pedro at 12pm followed by interment at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes.
