Eleanor Ann Patton passed away six months shy of her 90th birthday. Born in Glouster, Massachusetts then on to Columbus, Georgia with her nine brothers and sisters. She made her way to California in the late 1950s, eventually settling in Redondo Beach. She started working for Northrop Aircraft as an Executive Assistant and met her wonderful husband at a Northrop party in Malibu. They married in 1962 to start a family and she resigned from her job in 1963 to have an awesome son. Through the years, she made many many wonderful friends and lived an immaculate life. She enjoyed tennis, skiing, skating, golf, singing, travelling, shopping, church, family and most of all being with her friends. She traveled the world, even taking a road trip to Alaska and back in their VW van. Eleanor is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Chris and Catherine; two grand kids Brandy and Harley; sister Julie and brothers Tom and Jerry with numerous nieces and nephews. Her burial services will be held at Green Hills in Palos Verdes where she will rest next to her husband Donald who left us in 2019. As a breast cancer survivor, donations can be made in her honor to the “Susan G. Komen Foundation” with the mission of ending breast cancer forever. We will meet again…
