Don was born in Mt. Auburn, Iowa to Noble and Anna Anderson.
He was a WWII Navy Veteran. In 1946, he married the love
of his life, Peggy. He went on to become a general building
Contractor. He was preceded in death by his wife Peggy. He is survived by his children Donald (Mary) Anderson of Torrance, Karen (Ed ) Nowacki of Palos Verdes Estates, Terry (Sandy) Anderson of Nevada City, Melody (Larry) Filson of Torrance, 12 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Monday from 3-8pm at Green Hills. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 12 noon at Green Hills Memorial Chapel, 27501 S. Western Avenue, Rancho Palos Verdes.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Heart Association.
