Dolly Jessie Boots

“Dolly” Jessie Boots, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of 100. Born on January 6, 1924, in Kansas, Dolly moved to Torrance, California, in 1947 with her husband, Cliff, and their son, Larry. Shortly thereafter, their daughter Carol was born. Together, Dolly and Cliff shared an incredible 80 years of marriage, building a beautiful life centered around love, family, and faith.

A devoted homemaker, Dolly took great joy in caring for her home, her husband, and her garden. She had a remarkable talent for creating a warm and welcoming space, matched only by her deep love for her family.

Dolly was predeceased by her husband, Cliff, and their son, Larry Don Boots. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Boots Magee; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandsons.

A memorial service celebrating Dolly’s life will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. at the Historic Church at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes.
