Delores Janicich
June 6, 1933 — September 21, 2020
Delores Janicich, a long time resident of San Pedro, passed away on September 21,2020. She was loved well known and appreciated by family,
friends and co-workers for her exceptional pastries and quick wit. She enjoyed making people laugh, After graduating from San Pedro High School, she went to work for independent Magazine until it's closure. Following her long term employment there she worked in Human Resources for Star Kist Tuna until retirement. She was a member of the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church and the Order of the Easter Star Lodge #174.
She is survived by her sister, Natalie Marusich and many nieces, nephews and cousins in Arizona and Montana. She was predeceased by her parents Stojan and Mary Janicich, her sister and brother-in-law Louise
and Mike Obradovich,her brother Louis Janicich and brother-in-law, Alex
Marusich.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 1640 San Gabriel Blvd., San Gabriel, CA, 91776
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private interment will be held October 2, 2020 at Green Hills Cemetery
