In Loving Memory of David Remijio
February 14, 1994 – July 9, 2026
With profound joy and endless love, we celebrate the life of David Remijio, a remarkable man whose kindness, compassion, and love for his family touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.
David was born on Monday, February 14, 1994, a special Valentine's Day baby, to his loving parents, Maria Paniagua Flores and Jaime Remijio. From the very beginning, he brought love into the lives of those around him, and that love remained at the center of who he was throughout his life.
Above all else, David was a devoted father. His greatest joy was his three beautiful children, Remi, Reina, and Ryder. He loved them deeply and wholeheartedly, and every decision he made reflected the love and pride he had for them. Some of his happiest memories were made at Disneyland, where he loved taking his children to experience the magic together. Those moments of wonder, laughter, and adventure will forever be treasured by his family.
David had a gentle soul and an extraordinary capacity for kindness. As a high school student, he participated in a program that paired him with a student with special needs during lunchtime. It was a role he embraced with genuine compassion, reflecting the caring and selfless person he was even at a young age.
He found happiness in the simple things that brought people together. David loved building LEGO creations, immersing himself in the imaginative worlds of Warhammer, and spending countless hours gaming. He was also a devoted Marvel fan with a lifelong love of comic books. His favorite superhero was Spider-Man—not just a favorite, but a true obsession that reflected his style. He proudly passed that love on to his children, sharing stories, comics, and the excitement of Spider-Man with them, creating memories they will carry with them always. His hobbies reflected his creativity, curiosity, and exploring the parks of Portland especially Mt. Tabor park. He and his family moved to Portland in fall of 2022, which was one of his life’s bucket list. David impacted the lives of so many people in Oregon, especially his co-workers at Whole Foods and QFC who became friends. He is remembered by them by the unforgettable moments he shared with them.
David is survived by his beloved parents, Maria Paniagua Flores and Jaime Remijio, and by the three children who were the light of his life: Remi, Reina, and Ryder. He also leaves behind family members, friends, and countless others whose lives were forever enriched by his generosity, warmth, and unwavering kindness.
Though our hearts ache in his absence, David's love lives on in the lives he touched and in the family he cherished above all else. His legacy is one of kindness, compassion, and unconditional love. He will be remembered not only for the things he loved—from building LEGO sets and battling through Warhammer games to cheering for Spider-Man and creating magical memories at Disneyland—but for the love he so freely gave to everyone around him. His memory will forever remain a blessing, and he will be deeply loved, profoundly missed, and never forgotten.
May David's memory always be a blessing to everyone who knew and loved him. This paints a picture not only of what he enjoyed, but of the caring father and compassionate person he was.
