It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Charles “Chuck” Weissman. Chuck passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019 and was born on December 13, 1966 to Marcia and Dan Weissman in New Jersey. Chuck is survived by his wife of nearly ten years, Jackie Weissman along with their two dogs, Jeffrey and Mildred. Chuck also leaves behind his loving father, Dan, his brothers Neil and Glen, as well as his extended family and friends. His kind and gentle soul will be so dearly missed by all his family and anyone blessed to have known him.
Chuck had a humble and kind nature and would do anything for anyone. Chuck loved long-distance running, spending time with his wife and two dogs, exploring the outdoors, and enjoying the beautiful city of Hermosa Beach. He shared nearly ten years of marriage with his loving wife Jackie, whom he met while out running in South Bay.
His education at the University of Pittsburgh combined with a passion for engineering led him to a near 20 year career with Los Angeles Metro Transit Authority as a dedicated and masterful supervising engineer.
Chuck will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, February 8 at 9:00 AM at Green Hills Memorial Park Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes and will be proceeded thereafter with a private burial for immediate family.Flower arrangements may be sent to Green Hills Memorial Park:

A shiva will follow on Saturday, February 9, at the Weissman’s home located at 1106 Loma Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254. All are welcome to attend and honor Charles’ life.
