Her summers were spent basking in the sun on Southern California's stunning beaches.
Carol, the beloved second of four children, grew up in Long Beach, California. Her summers were spent basking in the sun on Southern California's stunning beaches. In her senior year, she met the love of her life, Bob, on a blind date. Their first date was to a newly opened Disneyland, and they were soon married, embarking on a remarkable 65-year journey together.
Carol and Bob had three daughters and seven grandchildren, and she was incredibly devoted to her family. Throughout her life, Carol had a passion for travel. Bob and she traveled annually for many years, and she particularly enjoyed her trips to Italy. She was captivated by the picturesque Lake Como and the breathtaking Amalfi Coast. Sedona was another destination she cherished, as well as her golfing trips with friends and family. In her later years, she and her daughters embarked on European river cruises.
Carol was an exceptional cook, and her culinary creations brought her family and friends together. Her famous lemon meringue pies were a hit, and her daughters and grandchildren eagerly anticipated her annual Christmas cookies. Carol will always be remembered with love.
