Carol Ann Githens-Manion

Carol passed away peacefully on December 26, 2021, at the age of 81 in her Torrance home. She was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Southern California as a child where she enjoyed the beach. Carol is survived by her husband Patrick, her son, Ron, daughter, Lori (Pat), brother, Jim (Shirley), stepdaughter, Tess (Matt), granddaughters, Karissa, Kamryn and grandson, Yotaro.

Besides spending time with family and friends, Carol loved children and adored being a teacher’s aide for many years. She also loved spending time with her beloved pets, dancing and drinking wine.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 11:30am at Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. Masks are required in the chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or SPCA in Carol’s honor.
