It is with profound shock and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Bonnie Ann Foltman Keilbach, age 70, of Rye, NY and San Pedro, CA on June 13, 2026. Born on October 13, 1955 in New Rochelle, NY, Bonnie was the beloved daughter of Barney and Dorothy Foltman. She was a vibrant person and full of life. Bonnie loved working as an Attendance Secretary in the Palms Verdes Peninsula USD. She often spoke of her wonderful colleagues and the joy it brought her working with the students. Bonnie will be remembered for her infectious laugh, kind heart, and her many talents and interests: an avid photographer, crafts and sewing, cooking and most of all spending time with her dog, Buddy. A lover of history, Bonnie was a member of the Point Fermin Lighthouse Association and Historical Society and Cabrillo Aquarium. Bonnie was blessed with her wonderful California family, Jeff and Darla Foltman. She loved all of her many friends: Lesa, Julie, Velvet . As a graduate of Elmira College,

Bonnie shared a 50 year friendship with Linda, Christine, Kathy and Nancy. She brought joy and light to all who knew her, and her sudden absence leaves a void that can never be filled. She was preceded in passing by her parents, Barney and Dorothy Foltman. She is survived by her brother, Barney Foltman and sister, Ursula Naclerio, sister in law, Beth Alexander Foltman and her nieces and nephew: Charlie Foltman, Meighan Foltman, Jessica Foltman, Lauren Batalla and Kristen Lee. A celebration of Bonnie’s s life will be held in July 2026 in San Pedro, CA (date and time to be announced, followed by a memorial service in Rye, NY in September of 2026 (TBD).
