Bob Davis passed away peacefully at home on February 18, 2026, at the age of 98, surrounded by loved ones. Born on April 23, 1927, in Miami, Oklahoma, Bob was the youngest of eight children born to Bert and Pearl Davis.
Bob proudly served his country during the Korean War. His commitment to service extended beyond the military; he was a member of the Rotary Club and a devoted Freemason for more than 75 years, exemplifying the values of brotherhood, integrity, and community.
Bob had a successful 38-year career at Home Bank, where he worked his way up to Vice President.
Above all, Bob treasured his family and friends who became family. He is survived by his daughter Christi Spencer and her husband, Mike; his daughter Shelly Montelongo and her husband, Chris; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. His legacy of strength, dedication, and love lives on through each of them.
As the youngest of eight, Bob grew up understanding the importance of family, resilience, and hard work—qualities that defined his long and well-lived life. He will be remembered for his steady presence, his commitment to those he loved, and the quiet example he set for generations to follow. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the chapel at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. A service and burial will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the historic church at Green Hills Memorial Park.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Bob’s name to the Gary Sinise Foundation.
