Billy Castro

Billy Castro was born October 23rd, 1979. He was the only child of Christina Castro McVay. As a young child he attended schools in both Hawthorne and Palm Springs, graduating from Lloyd High School in Lawndale, California. Billy immediately joined the work force and soon after became a father with his first daughter Charlee. Two years later Jordyn, his second daughter was born, four years later a son, Travis was born. Billy spent his days dropping kids off at school, working, picking kids up, doing laundry and cleaning, always taking care of his kids. He was a great father and made sure they were always okay. What started as a crush three years ago turned into to real love when he met and married the love of his life, Laura who is currently expecting Billy’s fourth child. They were complete homebodies and spent all their time together. Billy loved his kids and his family. He worked hard as a Longshoreman. Billy had a great sense of humor and always made people laugh. He treated people good and was kind. He had a love for anything digital or hi-tech.

On Sunday November 25th, 2018 Billy was called home to be with the Lord. He is survived by his wife Laura, daughters Charlee and Jordyn his son Travis, his mother Christina, Grandfather George Castro, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Edyth and cousin Darin.

His funeral will be held at Green Hills Mortuary December 15th, 2018 at 2:00pm followed by his burial.
