Bertha Olmos

Bertha 'Birdies' Olmos, 78, of Wilmington, CA passed away on July 20, 2025 at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, caring sister & dear friend to many.

Bertha was known for her ability to create moments of intense excitement, bitter defeat, & hilarious inside jokes. She was a master at causing both smiles and groans simultaneously, which endeared her to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Born on March 3, 1947 in Tijuana, Mexico to the late Guillermo & Liduvina Romero. She was the second eldest of 8 children; Luisa Ortega, Arnie Romero and María “Terri” Prado. She is predeceased by Guillermo (Willie) Romero, Hector Romero, Hilda Garcia & Guillermina (Guille) Bejarano.

Bertha is survived by her husband of 54 years, Hector Olmos; their four children; Michael, Hector Jr. (Chatos), Adriana & Judy Olmos; and four grandchildren; Briana Olmos, Jacob Olmos, Addison Figueroa & Isabelle (Sloan) Figueroa.
