Benjamin Ricardo Moreno III, son of Benjamin Moreno II and Tina Marie Maupin, was born on September 24th 2006. He grew up primarily in Hesperia, CA, sharing summers and holidays in Norwalk, CA.
Benjamin, known as "Nuhnuh" and "Rick" by his loved ones, lived in and visited many places in his time with us, moving from California to Colorado, Illinois, Virginia and North Carolina in the span of 3 years. He graduated from Bayside High School in Virginia Beach, VA in 2025. There he participated in the NJROTC program, becoming one of the most decorated cadets, as well as earning a Phoenix Award due to his incredible achievement of overcoming a freshman year lack of credits by taking extra classes on top of his regular schedule to fulfill a promise to his mother to graduate high school on time and earn his diploma. He proudly joined the Marine Corps shortly after, serving as a Logistics specialist, earning the rank of Lance Corporal.
Benjamin was known for his humor, his artistic ability, and his skill as a dancer. He had an uncanny ability to make friends with strangers very easily, and was always trying to put a smile on someone's face who needed one. Above all else, Benjamin will be remembered for being a proud Marine, loving brother, devoted uncle, and a beautiful soul. His kindness, generosity, and compassion for others will be an example that will be remembered and learned from for his family for eternity.
