Benjamin Valdez Aragones, MD

Benjamin Valdez Aragones was born on April 22,1939 to Serapio Maglaya Aragones and Rosalia Timario Valdez in Caba, La Union, Philippines. He passed away at the age of 86 on October 26, 2025 in Glendale, CA.

Benjamin is the fifth of nine siblings. He graduated with a degree of Doctor of Medicine from the Cebu Institute of Technology.

Benjamin is known for having a wonderful sense of humor, enjoyed teasing his siblings, sharing jokes with his family. He was an avid reader, enjoyed watching movies and was a fantastic cook, learning a lot from observing his mom cook when he was young. He also enjoyed caring for his lovebirds, parakeets and dog, Dana.

He is survived by his wife, Lilia, and his children Michael, Kristine and Roslyn with her husband, Jonathan. He is also survived by his siblings: Jaime, Virginia, Purita, Clarita, and Mila.

He was preceded in death by his father, Serapio; his mother, Rosalia; his brother, Joe; his sister, Rosalie; and his sister, Evelyn.

His family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate his life. Visitation will be held on November 24, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Green Hills Mortuary and Memorial Chapel, located at 27501 S Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275. A burial service will take place on November 25, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Green Hills Mortuary and Memorial Chapel, located at 27501 S Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275.

Benjamin Aragones will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor and deep love for his family.
