Benigno, the son of Victorio and Rosa Alvarez was born November 20, 1941 in the Philippines and passed away peacefully in his home on June 14, 2012 in Irvine. Benigno is survived by his loving wife, Zenaida, and children, Dennis, Nelson (Camille), Nancy (Alex) Mangosing, and Allan (Trysta). Visitation will begin Wednesday, June 20th at from 3:00 – 8:00 PM at the Green Hills Mortuary Villetta Room. Visitation continues Thursday June 21st from 5:00 - 9:00 PM and Friday June 22, 5:00 - 9:00 PM both days in the Green Hills Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 23rd at 9:00 AM in the Green Hills Memorial Chapel, interment to follow in Green Hills Memorial Park.
