Beatrice D. Rodriguez

Beatrice D. Rodriguez passed away on January 10, 2013 in Newhall, CA. She was 87. She died peacefully in her sleep after living with Alzheimer's Disease for 6 years. She was born in Los Angeles, California and lived in San Pedro and then Carson until moving to Newhall in 1994.
Beatrice is survived by her son Lonny Rodriguez and her daughter Debbie DiCorrado, her grandsons Matthew, Jeremy, Jeffrey & Eric, her grand-daughter Aleta and her great- grandchildren Delaney and Christopher. She has 3 surviving sisters; Margaret Rivera, Virginia Duron and Dora Gurrola. Beatrice was pre-deceased by her husband Froilan, her son Michael and her grandson Christopher.
She was a volunteer at the Association of Domestic Violence thrift shop in Newhall for several years and enjoyed spending time with her family most of all. She loved to read, cook and was a wonderful gardener.
Services will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes on Friday, January 18th at 1pm. Donations to the Alzheimer's Association in her name would be appreciated.
