It is with deep sadness that we share our beloved Barbara Lukin, 80, of San Pedro, Ca, passed away March 4th 2026. Barbara was born on October 5th 1945 to Harvey Penick and Betty Hodkin in Long Beach Ca.

Barbara is predeceased by her brother, Stuart Penick and her son Robbie Lukin in 2022. She is survived by her beloved, daughter in-law Jamie, grandchildren Chase and Ty Lukin, her brother Bill Penick, nieces and nephews.

Barbara was a proud member of ILWU Local 63 Marine Clerks Association. She was respected within the community, and a figure whose contributions impacted so many including the family she eventually built around her. Importantly, she played a meaningful role in those that were close to her; she was kind, loving, funny and full of joy.

Barbara loved traveling; Hawaii was her favorite destination, it was where she loved to be. Her son and grandchildren were her EVERYTHING in life and she cherished each and every moment she spent with them.

Barbara will be recognized not only for her professional accomplishments but also for the integrity, generosity, and spirit with which she approached work and relationships. Her impact extended far beyond those around her.
