Arthur Duggan passed away on April 19, 2026 at the age of 90. He was born in San Pedro on May 20, 1935 and spent most of his life in Los Angeles with his last 32 years in San Pedro.

He became a Master Picture Framer who ran Azteca Picture Frame Company for over 50 years with the blessing of the Mendez brothers (Henry, Diego and Luis). Sky Bell worked with Art for 38 years and Domingo Salas (dec.) hand cut their first mat.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Jennie Duggan. A dear son from a prior marriage, Terrence Edward Duggan and his wife Sara; grandsons Noah and Jonah.

Art was step-dad to Dr. Mitchell Simon, his son Clint and daughters Cori; Tina and Lori (deceased).

Art is remembered by his brother-in-law Masami Dave Nishinaka, and his wife Brenda.

Art is also survived by:

Niece Rita Sharp, her husband John; their daughter Jennifer Rodriguez, her husband Ron and their daughters, Rylee, and Reegan.

Nephew Gary Reeves, his son Chris; daughter Cindy Nance her husband Tony; and Gary’s youngest daughter Carol Woolery and her children.

Nephew Lester Roth his wife Anna; their sons Bryan and Zander and daughters Daphne and Thora.

Dear cousins Conrad Herrera; his wife Kitty and their son Lawrence Phillip, SJ.

Art is also kindly remembered by his many lovely relatives in Liverpool England and his many relatives and friends here in the US, Korea, Mexico and Japan.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at the Green Hills Memorial Chapel followed by a reception.
