Apolinario Agustin Acoba, the son of Claudio and Agapita Acoba, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2011 at the age of 82. He was born on August 14, 1929 in Kauai, Hawaii and had been a longtime resident of Carson, California. Apolinario is survived by his loving children; Elena A. (Sid Steketee) Acoba, Anna M. Acoba, Anita Linda Acoba, Laura (Vernon) Shishido and four grandchildren; Vernon Matthew Shishido, Christopher Kekoa Zimmerman, Dana Acoba Steketee and Brianne Kasumi Shishido.
