Anton John "Tony" Devlahovich, 88, a lifelong resident of San Pedro, California, passed away on January 23, 2026, with family watching over him. Tony worked tirelessly at GATX/Westway for over 40 years to provide for his family. He was a devoted family man who treasured his time at home, except when he indulged in the occasional game of chance at the casino, or when playing a round of golf with his sons, as he enjoyed participating in all sports with his children. When Vegas or the golf course was not an option, he transformed his living room into "Tony's Casino" and backyard into "Tony's Country Club" inviting everyone to join in the fun. Tony was known for his humor and jovial nature, qualities that will be cherished and missed by his family and all who knew him.
Tony leaves behind five children: Mark (Lynne), Lori, Brian (Patricia), Mathew (Maria), and Chad. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well. He is also survived by younger brother, Robert. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, John and Catherine ("Tina"), and his dear wife, Catherine, who passed just days prior to him and paved his way to heaven.
