Anthony “Tony” Padillo Polanco was born on December 18, 1977, in Santa Maria, Pangasinan, Philippines, to Arnulfo Polanco and Laura Padillo. In 1973, the family immigrated to the US. They settled and continue to build life in Carson, California. Eight years later, their family grew with the arrival of Tony’s younger brother, Allen.
Tony married his beloved wife, Annabelle Santos, in 2015, and together they joyfully welcomed their daughter, Ellie Kailani Allen, in 2020. Ellie quickly became the light of their lives, and Tony cherished every moment of being a proud “girl dad.”
Tony was a passionate fisherman. He could often be found out on the Pacific Ocean, casting lines during the fishing season, fully immersed in the sport he loved. He was an avid collector, with a particular fondness for Hot Wheels and football trading cards. Tony was a firm believer in living in the moment and had an infectious energy that made him the life of every gathering. He treasured the time spent with family and friends, always making sure to create lasting memories.
On September 2, 2025, Tony left us far too soon. He departed surrounded by his loving family and friends. His absence leaves a void, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. We hope that your memories of Tony will always bring a smile to you.
