Ante Antolos, a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and accomplished electrician, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026, in Torrance, California. He was born on June 9, 1938, in Zablace, Croatia, to Slavko and Frana Antolos. Ante's journey was one of hard work, resilience, and love, which he demonstrated throughout his life.
In 1962, Ante made the significant decision to move to the United States, where he built a successful career as a certified electrician. His expertise in this field was profound; he not only worked for the Department of Water and Power but also contributed his skills to the Long Beach Naval Shipyard. He concluded his professional journey as a Crane Mechanic for SSA. Ante was proud to be the first electrician in his small town, a testament to his pioneering spirit and commitment to his craft.
In addition to his technical skills, Ante proudly served as a Military Police Officer in the Yugoslav Army, showcasing his dedication to serving his community and country. Education played a vital role in his life; he attended school to become a certified electrician and motor rewinder, a pursuit that bore great fruit in his professional endeavors.
Ante was a man of many interests, with a passion for the outdoors that included hunting, as well as a fondness for the excitement of casinos. These hobbies brought him joy and created lasting memories with family and friends over the years.
He had the fortune of sharing 62 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Grace Antolos. Together, they built a strong family foundation that includes their children, Slavko (Paula) Antolos and Frank (Nada) Antolos, as well as their cherished grandchildren, Alexandrea, Anthony, Frankie, and Lily.
Ante’s legacy is one of love, hard work, and dedication to family. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
Visitation services will be held on February 2, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cove Suite, located at 27501 S Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275. A graveside service will follow on February 3, 2026, at Green Hills Memorial Park, commencing at 9:00 AM.
Ante leaves behind a loving family who will carry his memory in their hearts forever.
